MEN'S HEALTH 40+





What happen's when we have allready taken our mountain in early life and we start to "climb" the ride back down. That's more difficult and the most important ride of your life.









Being thankfull is one of the key ingredients in everybodyś life. Iḿ greatfull as being healthy today allthough I have Crohnś desease. Tomorrow is a mystery to everyone, so I also try to reming myself to enjoy as much as possible right now.
Men are paying the price for neglecting their health: too many men die too young. This article is about how to improve menś life overall. There are many things happening when we turn 40 and over. Lifecycle is chancing meaning we should reinvent ourselves on a daily basis in order to live a full life.

I have acknowledged some things within me that I want to share with you.

This ”recipe” is going get bigger when this article gets feedback, so feel free to give your ideas or also dilemmas to solve. Let ś solve them together :)

MENŚ RECIPE 4 GREATER LIFE (list will be up-dated from time to time)
  1. Being gratefull, that's a challenge in ever changing world. Stop taking things granted, appreciate especially small matters in every day life. You will enjoy life to the fullest.
  2. Feelings. Express them, easier said than done, but if you bury them it may lead to all sorts of problems like depression etc. Activate your social life with friends that give you positive feelings and spread that feeling around you.
  3. Healthy food. Many of us know this: Avoid prosessed foods, too much candy,sugary sodadrinks, sugar, wheatflower, yeast, food additives. Change the course towards the nature: Eat real food – superfood is as it says, it is super healthy to you. Eat food, vegetables, honey, berries, meat (if you eat) close to your neigborhood.
  4. Accept the things you can't change. We use too much energy on many things we can't ”control”. Rather focus on yourself, that's one thing you can control. Remember, do not change others, first change yourself and then look at the situation again.
  5. Exercise. Daily movements to you body and joints are important for overall health. Walk, run, hike in the nature, go to gym, swim, play something. Do what ever makes you feel better, main thing is you keep moving in your own terms.
  6. Check your health on a yearly basis by a doctor or therapist and if change is needed, take action!
